Martin Luther King, Jr. Day 2015
There's one day every year where we honor a great man. (If you haven't seen Selma, GO!)He was not perfect, no one is. We all have our flaws but working towards a better mankind should be all of our goals.
In the words of another great
"I have cherished the ideal of a democratic and free society in which all
persons live together in harmony and with equal opportunities."
--Nelson Mandela
persons live together in harmony and with equal opportunities."
--Nelson Mandela
Is that so much to ask? Is that so hard to accomplish? Is it so wrong for everyone to have the same opportunities? I don't think it is. So, to live a life working towards a better future for not only my children but for us all is something I can try my best to do.
In remembrance of Dr. King, let's all try to have an impact on the world this year.
