Five Question Friday (& Saturday!)

I was on the road Friday rendering me unable to do my Friday link-ups, so I'm squeezing it all into one! Today I'm linking up with:

&

ENJOY!!

1. What was the most productive thing you have done this week?

Wowzers! In case you guys haven't noticed (by my lack of interaction on my blog...sorry!), I AM OVERWHELMED!! I'm overwhelmed at work, home, church...everywhere. I'm stretched thin...but amongst all that, I'm trying to at least create some normalcy in all the chaos. I need some help, to be honest. Having to do everything by myself is starting to catch up with me. I say, on a daily basis, "I need an assistant!" My coworkers laugh at me every time...but I'm oh so serious! I know I wont get an assistant, but a helping pair of hands would be nice. ANYWHO, out of the one million tasks I have to do, the most productive thing I can say I've done this week is successfully pack up my life in preparation for a mini vacay in DC. I know that might not sound "productive", but for me it is! I'm a terrible packer!

2. Enjoying the winter or ready for spring?

This is not even a question in my book. If you read this, you know I'm not a winter person. I've been ready for Spring since it first started getting cold!! Spring is my favorite season. It needs to hurry up and get here! I'm tired of snow forecasts and I'm tired of wearing winter clothes. I'm ready to bust out with sleeveless shirts and sandals. I have so many pairs of sandals that I can mix and match with outfits like nobody's business! Being the frugal shopper I am, I can always find a good deal. I rarely pay over $10 for sandals...and some of these are name brand sandals! For instance, I recently bought a pair of leopard American Eagle sandals for $8. GREAT buy, right?!

3. Are you an introvert or extrovert? Is your spouse the same as you?

I'm definitely an introvert. I've always been shy, since I can remember. My saying is "I don't like being the center of attention!" Now that I'm getting older, I'm getting more comfortable with being in, or putting myself in, situations that make me be an extrovert. Depending on the situation, I actually enjoy it...but there are still situations that make me nervous. I don't have a spouse, but my partner is a little bit of both. He can definitely entertain a room, but also prefers his me time. That's why we're the perfect match!!

4. Would you rather go without music or television for 1 year?

This is an easy question! Lol. If you read here, or here, or here...lol...then you would know how much I LOVE music! For the most part, I only watch TV for background noise. I have too much going on in my life not have music in it! I've loved music since I was baby. my daddy is a DJ and always has been. I mean, now he just does it on the side, but I was exposed to music very early on because of it. Music can be a mood regulator or a mood complimenter.  Music is my friend and we can never part :-)

5. Have you ever been truly scared of someone?

PUHLEASE!! What do I look like?! I've never had a reason to be scared of anybody, besides my Moma when she was getting ready to whoop me!! Lol. Like I said in question 3, I'm in introvert. I've learned some valuable lessons by being an introvert, which is also a reason why I feel I can become comfortable with being an extrovert when it's needed.  You have to be careful when interacting with others. People are people and you can never know what to expect...I guess that's just the psychology in me. I tend to me, and I always have. It's really hard to have issues with anybody else when you're not stirred up in everything.

5 Question Friday

I found this little gem through a site I follow and was ecstatic! I love these just as much as Blog Hops!! So, let's get started!!

1. What is a hobby you would love to learn and why?

I would LOVE to take up ballet. I watch Dance Moms all the time. I love watching ballet and I can see myself moving like ballet dancers (in my head, that is...LOL). Ballet is so artistic and expressive...it's amazing! I don't know if ballet is the best for your body, but it's definitely beautiful. If my body were more agile, if I had the time to devote to the craft, and if I knew I could dance like I see myself dancing in my head...I would totally do this!!

2. What do you wish you could have delivered to your house but does not deliver?

Good question. Right here recently, my life has been on the fast track. I've had so many things going on that I say almost everyday "I need an assistant!". There are many things I wish could be done for me. Now, to think of just one thing I would love to have delivered to my house, I would pick groceries. I'm in the grocery store a lot. I try to keep a running list of things I need to avoid forgetting things. I always end up getting the opportunity to go to the grocery store when I don't have my list with me. I'm a "once-I-get-in-the-house-I'm-staying-in-the-house" kinda girl. I hate having to back track, especially for a list! Ha! So I rehearse the list in my head until I think I at least have enough items remembered to make the trip worthwhile...only to get home and realize I missed the one item I really needed! If I could get groceries delivered, that would totally eliminate my problem. For kicks, check out some of my grocery escapades here and here!

3. What's your favorite snow day activity? Inside and out?

It doesn't usually snow here in North Carolina, but this year we've had more than a good helping of it...check it out here! I hate cold weather. If I could have it my way, I'd live in Florida or California because neither of those states have a real winter (although they have their fair share of hurricanes and earthquakes...smh...you win some, you lose some...lol)! Needless to say, I don't have any favorite snow day activities outside...LOL. When I'm inside, I long for my moma's vegetable beef soup and peanut butter sandwiches. Since, I can't make it like she can (or because I don't try...lol...which I have good reason for but that's another story in itself) I usually wind up on the couch, watching TV, rummaging in the cabinets and fridge for food (since I never believe it's going to snow, I never prepare). I enjoy the snow because it gives me a reason to have lazy day on purpose!

4. Would you meet a stranger from an Internet dating site?

I definitely WOULD NOT. I watch enough Criminal Minds, Law & Order, and local news not to do that. People are CRAZY these days. I know there are numerous sites that boast about being the best match makers on the web. I know they promote "happy couples" who found each other on their websites. I just don't trust it. If I don't know you, if I don't know people who know you, if I'm not around you on a daily basis to see how you act (in public and with other people), I'm not believing anything you tell me through a computer. PUHLEASE!! It is 2013. It might work for some and I'm not knocking it if that's what you like, but I'm a skeptic and I WILL NOT engage in such activities...lol. I'm good with my CB ;-)

5. If you had to spend 35 hours in a car with 4 other people, who would you choose?

35 hours? Do we get bathroom breaks, food, and and/or sleep?? Geez!! And 4 other people in addition to myself...are we in a Suburban?? We better be! LOL. If I had to choose 4 other people I would choose (definitely in no particular order) my CB, my mom, my sister, and my best friend Nicole (at Pharr Away). I would choose these people because they are the people I talk to the absolute most. I love having fun and I always have fun with them all. That's a very long trip...I wonder where we're going! :-)

What are your answers to these 5 questions?? I'd love to hear it!
