My Sew-In Story
If you guys follow me on Twitter (@allnaturalmi) then you know I've recently taken my sew-in out.
I'll preface this by saying nothing too detrimental happened, but I definitely have a story to tell.
I want to tell my story, but I want to do it my way. I want to tell what happened in a little mini-series which is how "My Sew-In Story" was born.

I'm going to tackle this thing in detail...one post at a time. I know I'm wordy, so I'm not even going to try and put it all in one post. Plus, there are important areas I want to highlight, especially for people out there like me who aren't exactly do-it-yourself hair gurus, but try to manage their manes at home anyway!
I'm going to explain what I did to prepare for taking out my sew-in, what happened when I did, how I prepped for washing my hair, what happened when I did, the aftermath, and how I plan to move forward in the future.

So stay tuned as I prepare my words for these posts!! I want to share my story because I'm sure it'll help someone in the long run and it'll continue to help me document what's happening on my hair journey!
Follow Mi!
So ready to read the nitty gritty details about this. You make it sound all doom and gloom, lol!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to read the saga. . . .
ReplyDeleteOoh! This has me very interested...do tell! I love hair stories!
ReplyDeleteI hope it's a good story. I lost a piece of my edges on those last cornrows. Trying not to think about it. Needless to say, I'm wearing my own hair out in two strand twists. :-)
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to hearing more.
ReplyDeleteCurious as well!!
ReplyDeleteIt certainly looks good! I know how hard any braid styles can be on my edges so I'm looking forward to your experience.
