Sunday Funday

As you all know, I took a break last week. Again life has been taking a toll on me and I've been trudging through. I'm dealing with being at a crossroad with a few things and rather than stretching myself thin trying to deal with keeping up with appearances, I've decided to take the time tend to try and deal with my needs...as best I can.

Now that I've decided to get back on top of blogging, it would be just my luck that my computer would conk out on me :-( It sucks, but that's just another thing I must deal with so I'll ask that you all be patient with me.

Yesterday was Sunday Funday. Sunday is probably the second worst day of the week beside Monday...lol...because you have to get prepared for the work week! I'm thankful for my boyfriend and his efforts to try and help me deal with things a little better than I know how to at the moment. Yesterday, he took me for a little walk down one of the trails in the city and to see World War Z.

I loved the walk because I like being out in nature (when it's not too hot!...or cold, for that matter...lol). Something about it soothes me. I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. I can proudly say that I love Zombies AND Vampires (i.e., True Blood, The Walking Dead, and the Twilight series). I felt like World War Z did a good job of telling a story that was unlike any other zombie show are movie I've seen.

So, thanks Chris.

Let the week begin!

  1. I hope this week works out better for you. It's good to have someone to balance you out, especially during difficult times. <3

p.s. Your hair is growing! I just compared it to your button photo. Looks like you'll get your "hang time" wish sooner than later. :-)

    1. Thanks so much Libby. It is very good to have someone that balances you out and I'm very appreciative for it, more than he knows it. And yes, definite hair growth! I'll be doing a post about it this week so be on the lookout for it!

  2. My computer did the same so I totally feel ya! The saying "when it rains it pours" is terribly true. So much going on lately all at once but I'm confident that the other side will be so much brighter! I'm excited about what's in store for the both of us!!! Our blessings are right around the corner, can't you just feel it :)!!!

    1. The computer is such an expensive necessity...you haven't even had yours that long!! I'm sorry to hear that. Now begins the search for an affordable computer...thing is do I want a PC or a Mac. And if I'm leaning towards a Mac, it definitely won't be affordable!! And I guess the money to pay for another computer is just going to appear in my pocket!! SMH!

    2. The great PC/Mac debate. I finally was able to get a Mac this year, after I don't know how many years of dreaming. I will say that I absolutely love it. I still have my PC desktop and use it mainly because of certain software that I don't have on my Mac, but when I use it, it seems like all the frustrations come back. Constantly scanning for viruses, hesitating when I don't need it to, etc. etc. I know there can be advantages of either system depending on compatibility concerns (i.e between work + home), but I'm more than satisfied with the investment.

You can also check out refurbished Macs. Everyone I know that purchased a Mac this way have been totally satisfied: http://www.macofalltrades.com/ OR the refurbished section on the apple store.

Wishing you all the best on whatever you decide. :-)

    3. That's actually a great idea. I'm not opposed to a refurbished Mac, but I'm definitely opposed to that brand new Mac price...LOL. I will check those out Libby. Thanks!

  3. Hi Mi! Sorry that you're having some computer trouble! I hate when that happens! I wanted to let you know that I nominated you for the Liebster award! You can see it here: http://beyondthewell.wordpress.com/2013/06/24/and-then-i-won-a-liebster-award/.

Thanks for writing some awesome stuff!

    1. It is very unfortunate, but I'm dealing with it! Thanks for nominating me for the Liebster Award. I've actually gotten the award before, but I LOVE answer questions about me...lol...so I will definitely participate. I probably won't nominate anyway since I never heard back from anyone that I nominated the last time *sad face*. But check out my other Liebster post, if you haven't already. It's currently #4 in my Popular Posts in the side bar. I will definitely let you know when I do my Liebster post. Thanks Again!

  4. Is that a chick filet tee? Lol...where on earth did you get that? It's funny that you wore it on a Sunday too considering they are closed on Sundays. Don't stress about taking a break from Social Media...I think it's a good idea for everyone to do that from time to time.

    1. Hi Taylor! That sure is a chick-fil-a t-shirt. I found it at Wal-mart. They always have the best tees!! My best friend actually suggested that I try that to see if it would help. I told her I would think about it...it's just so hard!! Thanks for stopping by! I'll have to check you out too!!
