Have you guys ever begun new chapters in life? I don't know about you, but starting a brand new chapter is a lot of work!
I discussed how I took a week off because of having to deal with the review at work, church activities, personal matters, etc. I was also taking some time to prepare for this new chapter in my life. Wanting things to be right and in decent order, requires proper preparation. I took time this week to increase my efforts in preparation for this new chapter, all while dealing with the daily going-ons of my life. It's been a lot of work and I have a lot more preparation ahead, but I'm definitely excited about this new chapter. I'm also hopeful that my careful and calculated preparations pay off.
I know the code talk sucks, but it's not good to talk about every single thing you're doing. Some times God is the only one who needs to know what's going on, seeing as how He's the only one who can actually move in your life anyway. Once His plan is carried out, I'll share, but for now much prayer is needed. I'm confident everything will work out for my good! :-)
Also, I would like to take this time to speak about my Grandmother. Today is my Grandma's birthday. It's a very special day for me because today is my half birthday (which is how I always remember her day). My Grandma passed away in 2002. I miss her like crazy. My Grandma did a lot for me and my family and I will always appreciate her. She was a very blessed woman. I will never forget her and her sweet spirit. There are so many things I wish she could have seen because I know she would have been so proud of not only me, but so many of my other family members that she cared so much about.
Our family symbol for her is the cardinal. I see them often. When I see them, I smile because I know that my Grandma is checking on me.
Happy Birthday Grandma!! I love you!
